Signature Painting, Inc. was founded in Morton Grove, IL with a simple idea: painting contractors should be the easiest part of a home improvement project, not the most stressful one. That meant showing up when we said we would, protecting a home like it was our own, and never treating prep work as the step you skip to save time.
Twenty plus years later, that idea hasn't changed — it's just been tested on more houses, more weather, and more tricky architectural details than we can count. What started as a small painting crew has grown into a full interior and exterior painting, drywall, and carpentry company serving homeowners and businesses across the North Shore and greater Chicagoland area.
Along the way, we made an early decision to build the business around low-VOC and eco-friendly paints, long before it was the industry standard. It meant cleaner air for the families and employees in the spaces we painted, less environmental impact per job, and — as it turns out — a better-performing product. That decision still shapes how we work today.
